I guess this isn't exactly updated daily as advertised, but I figured I'd give a shout out and say hi to all you other members. I signed up with NORML Canada after reading Bud Inc by Ian Mulgrew (awesome book fyi, very informative and interesting). I suppose mostly everybody has heard about what they're trying to do to Marc Emery, head of the British Colombian Marijuana Party and self-proclaimed Prince of Pot, that's really got me ticked off. For those of you who don't know, they're trying to extradite him to the United States to stand trial as the biggest Drug Kingpen in American history because of his large-scale seed-sales operation which the DEA says is responsible for all the marijuana coming out of BC and most of the stuff grown within the states as well. It's all rather silly and aggravating.
I'm also really big into Hemp... I love hemp clothes, though they're rather expensive compared to the rest of my clothes so I don't have much. I'm getting into soap making and am hoping to make some nice hemp soaps to sell and give to my classmates, friends and relatives. I also like hemp seed food products, like hemp hogs, and really wish that hemp products were more available and cheaper, which is made very difficult to achieve because of the total ban effected by the US government. |
